Job summary

Kensington-based secondary school is seeking an innovative AV Technician to join its IT and Media Support team. You will oversee all audio-visual equipment for assemblies, productions, and events, while guiding staff and students in using interactive screens and live streaming tools.

Qualifications

• Proven AV technician experience, preferably in education, theatre, or live events.
• Hands-on knowledge of sound and lighting equipment and projectors.
• Strong troubleshooting across AV hardware and software on Windows/Mac.
• Clear communication and organisational skills with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down AV for assemblies, productions, and events.
• Inspect, test, and maintain AV equipment across rooms and venues.
• Assist staff and students with AV setup and interactive screens usage.
• Manage media suites, live streams, signage networks, and asset registers.
• Ensure health and safety compliance for cables and rigs.
