A technical support company is seeking freelance AV Technicians to provide onsite technical support in Manchester and Leeds.   • Responsible for all meeting rooms/AV equipment.
  • Provide Audio Visual support to other areas.
  • Liaise with senior executives to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with help desk for backup support.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.

Job description

Red Sky personnel is looking for freelance AV Technicians to attend sites in Manchester and Leeds.

The main purpose of the role is to provide full technical onsite support. You will have exposure to a multitude of technologies in the Audio Visual and Video Conferencing arena and will be comfortable working as a sole ambassador or in a team environment.

Key responsibilities

  1. Supply pre-planned and flexible operational cover.
  2. Setup and operation of integrated events spaces, including high-profile auditorium-based results presentations.
  3. Videoconference/audio conference setup and support.
  4. Manage all aspects of Video Calls and scheduling, including full systems operational testing prior to high-profile events.
  5. Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required.
  6. Day-to-day BAU support of AV/VC facilities, including sound reinforcement, projection, lighting, and web streaming.
  7. Responsible for all meeting rooms/AV equipment and support in other areas when required.
  8. Provide Audio Visual support to other areas of the business when needed.
  9. Liaise with senior executives to resolve issues professionally, both face-to-face and remotely.
  10. Coordinate with proAV help desk & operations team for backup support when needed.
  11. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, ticketing systems, and room booking software for administration support.
