Qualifications

Join our team at Hopton Holiday Park, located near the beautiful Norfolk Broads and sandy beaches.

Position: AV Technician
Type: Full Time / Seasonal, fortnightly-paid, PAYE contract
Pay Rates: £13.63 per hour (before accommodation, tax, and national insurance deductions)
Start dates vary depending on role. The contract ends Nov 2025.

We are seeking passionate AV Technicians to join our Entertainment Team, providing technical and stage support for theatrical productions, events, and experiences. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about behind-the-scenes entertainment support and performing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality visual, lighting, and sound technical operation.
  • Support all daytime and evening events/productions.
  • Maintain technical equipment throughout the season.
  • Liaise with support teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist visiting acts with sound-check and setup.
  • DJ during entertainment breaks and make announcements.
  • Engage with guests and owners.
  • Support front-of-house as needed.
Requirements
  • A passion for technical work and a desire to gain experience.
  • Previous experience is preferred but training will be provided.
  • Willing to work 6 days per week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Approximately 39 hours per week.
  • Must provide proof of right to work in the UK and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
