DNA Recruit are working with a leading global provider of high-profile events, who are seeking an AV Technical Operations specialist to join their dynamic team. Working with some of the world’s most prestigious brands, they specialize in delivering unforgettable audience experiences through cutting-edge technical solutions and seamless event execution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to support the Technical Department in ensuring smooth planning, preparation, and delivery of technical elements for events. From obtaining supplier quotations and managing equipment logistics to contributing to technical drawings and maintaining best practices, this role offers the chance to develop technical expertise while working on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in obtaining competitive supplier quotations for project proposals.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with technical suppliers.
• Manage databases, software, and processes that support the Technical Department.
• Support the creation and review of equipment picking lists to meet project requirements.
• Assist with the planning of equipment deliveries and collections.
• Ensure technical equipment is prepared, loaded, and transported efficiently.
• Provide support in creating technical drawings and contributing to system design.

Minimum Requirements:

You will have experience working as an AV technician in the events industry, broad technical knowledge across multiple disciplines, and the ability to communicate and present technical plans effectively. Commercial awareness and the ability to balance client satisfaction with profitability are also essential.
