JLB Recruitment Ltd seeks an Audio Visual Installation Engineer to deliver end‑to‑end AV system installations across the UK and international sites. You will install, configure, test and commission integrated AV setups, perform on-site wiring, and ensure documentation is up to date.

Strong client-facing skills and travel capability are essential. The role requires CTS certification or progression toward CTS-I, experience with Crestron, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS and Dante, plus familiarity with Teams

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing AV systems.
• CTS certified (or working towards CTS-I).
• Experience with Crestron DM/NVX and Crestron Toolbox.
• Experience with Biamp Tesira and Q-SYS platforms.
• Audinate Dante Level 1 (Level 2 desirable).
• Deployment of Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms solutions.
• Experience with Cisco video conferencing endpoints.

Aufgaben

• Deliver first and second fix works as required.
• Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings and documentation.
• Produce and maintain project technical documentation.
• Review and advise on AV system designs and suggest improvements.
• Plan and integrate AV systems within IP network environments, ensuring IT/security compliance.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues proactively.
• Liaise directly with manufacturers to resolve technical queries.
• Support project managers with delegated on-site and off-site tasks.
• Provide progress updates and participate in client/contractor meetings.
• Ensure all work complies with RAMS and Health & Safety standards.
• Support and mentor junior engineers where assigned.

Experience & Certifications

• Strong on-site technical delivery across multiple AV disciplines.
• AVIXA CTS certified (or working towards CTS-I).
• Experience with Crestron DM/NVX and use of Crestron Toolbox.
• Experience with Biamp Tesira and Q-SYS platforms.
• Audinate Dante Level 1 (Level 2 desirable).
