AV Sales Manager Role

A growing Audio/Visual company, due to continued success and growth, is seeking to recruit an AV Sales Manager. The ideal candidate has in-depth industry knowledge and is looking for an opportunity to join a small, family-run business aiming to elevate its operations. This is a field-based role with easy access to London for sales and project meetings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve targets and drive growth in the UK market, selling Microsoft Teams Rooms and complex Audio Visual Systems using products such as Shure, QSC, and Biamp.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and forging strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  3. Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges.
  4. Manage the sales pipeline, forecast performance, and report on activities and KPIs to senior management.
  5. Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring client needs are met while maximizing profitability and maintaining long-term relationships.
  6. Write proposals, close deals, organize handovers to engineers, and ensure smooth project execution.
  7. Maintain a strong understanding of the UK AV market, including key players, trends, and technologies.
  8. Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage clients at all levels.
  9. Be results-driven, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  10. Work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  11. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
