AV Project Consulting Manager

Our client designs and develops professional Audio-Visual System Products used to integrate video and audio into presentation systems (e.g., high-tech boardrooms, university lecture halls).

Role Overview:

This senior engineering position involves working both pre-sale and post-sale, providing technical support to new and existing customers, including creating system designs, training, presenting solutions, supporting projects, and offering technical assistance.

Main Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining relationships with AV Consultants, M&E Consultants, key End-users, and collaborating with the Business Development team.
2. Proactively engaging with End-users pre- and post-sales on identified projects.
3. Supporting AV and M&E Consultants with project and tender requests.
4. Providing on-site technology and product demonstrations.
5. Conducting training on current and new solutions.
6. Assisting with complex customer designs and requests from stakeholders.
7. System commissioning to verify proper installation.
8. Building relationships with Vertical Market Integrators outside the standard VAR/SI channel, such as Government, Defence, Healthcare partners, promoting new technologies.
9. On-site troubleshooting at end-user sites with resellers.
10. Reporting market requests to the Product Development team for product improvements or features.
11. Supporting tradeshows and exhibitions.

Candidate Requirements:

Extensive experience in the professional AV sector, including system design, programming, and commissioning. Strong training skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to address audiences of varying sizes. Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally overseas.
