Audio-Visual Installation Engineer
Location: Bolton area - UK travel
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 per annum

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audio-Visual Installation Engineer to join a growing team. This role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining AV systems across various client sites, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install a wide range of AV equipment, including projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, and control panels.

  • Follow technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans to deliver high-quality setups.

  • Ensure installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Maintain and check company vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy.

  • Take responsibility for personal tools and PPE, replacing any defective or unsafe equipment as required.

  • Work closely with other engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to meet deadlines and client expectations.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in AV installations.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
