Job Description: AV Events Team Leader

Kinly, a global leader in Audio Visual and Unified Communications technology, is seeking a proven AV Events leader to join our team onsite with a well-known global brand. This role involves managing AV support for a variety of live events, ensuring proper resourcing, planning, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with management and clients to determine AV requirements, providing advice on presentations, audio, and video.
2. Operate AV equipment during events to ensure high-quality technical standards.
3. Supervise and perform positioning, installation, and operation of equipment.
4. Conduct pre-event checks and coordinate video/audio/webcast support for live events.
5. Set up and support on-site AV equipment and assist with MS Teams conferencing issues.
6. Perform preventative maintenance and report on AV equipment functionality.
7. Build and maintain client relationships, manage onsite technicians, and support AV projects and installations.
8. Promote team collaboration, identify training needs, and conduct performance appraisals.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with videoconferencing and live streaming platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, YouTube, etc.) and troubleshooting related issues.
• Proven experience operating PA systems, projection, graphics, video, and AV matrix switching.
• Experience with digital mixing desks (e.g., Allen & Heath) and live sound/music mixing with Dante.
• Experience with broadcast systems, cameras (BlackMagic, Roland, Sony, etc.), and control systems.
• Strong IT knowledge related to AV systems and IP Cameras.
• Understanding of consumer broadband hardware, routers, switches, and basic stage LED lighting.
• Comprehensive understanding of signal flow in audio and video installations.
• InfoComm CTS certification is advantageous.
