Hours: Potential shift pattern dependent on work load otherwise 8am - 5pm

Now we have an exciting opportunity for a proven Audio Visual / Event Technician to work on a brand new building for one of our prestige clients; to provide AV technical support across all of their meeting rooms.

The position involves a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with executive management and managing directors of the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Review daily AV schedule and provide both remote and onsite room support
  2. Provide first line break-fix support for all AV hardware
  3. Ensure scheduled conferences are connected without any issues
  4. Responsible for overall administrative works such as responding to AV support hotline calls and emails
  5. Review and send reports of automatically generated tickets within TMS and other VC related infrastructure
  6. Carry out daily proactive rooms checks
  7. Review, respond and handle support tickets received into the AV queue
  8. Setup and provide in room support for events
  9. Work with others within the team, support events, including pre-event testing of audio, wireless microphones, VC connections and displays
  10. Liaise with clients for large events to understand clients’ requirements
  11. Attend pre-production meetings required for any scheduled special events
  12. Primary Support to Operate in room systems for Global Production Events

Skills & experience:

  1. Proven experience working in an AV support technician role
  2. Excellent communications skills and process & procedure oriented
  3. Experience within a customer-facing role
  4. Working knowledge of Cisco AV technologies
  5. Industry standard certification (Cisco, Avixa, Crestron, Extron & WebEx)
  6. Capable of liaising with internal, external clients, vendors, venue account managers and project managers to successfully deliver events
  7. Working knowledge of Lighting and Acoustic
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  9. Excellent customer and executive management skills
