Job description

Our Client has an immediate requirement for an AV engineer to join their experienced engineering team. You will be installing a range of AV products and integrated AV systems in the corporate sector, including: boardrooms, auditoriums, training & meeting rooms, video walls, multi room installations, digital signage and TV distribution.

UK based jobs located mainly in London but can be anywhere. The ideal candidate will live local to Reading or M4 corridor.

Job Description
  • Project Lead and Commissioning of corporate audio visual solutions
  • AV onsite installation experience of installing a range of equipment in a range of environments including projection, flat screens, interactive technologies, audio solutions, switching, scalers, extenders and digital signage
  • Rack building and wiring
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • High level of professionalism
  • Technical knowledge and install experience of Video Conferencing systems Polycom/Lifesize/Tandberg/Cisco and web based camera solutions
  • Technical knowledge and install experience of AMX/Crestron (and preferably programming)
  • PC skills and programming of touch panels
  • On site management of teams and schedules
  • Technical checks for the projects and ability to follow drawings
  • Organisation for day to day running with relation to van stock/paperwork/communication
  • Ability to follow cable schedules & risk and method statements
  • Engineering health and safety training and knowledge
  • CTS Qualified (not required but preferred)
The ideal candidate:

First and foremost, as an AV engineer you must be able to work to a high quality standard. You will have excellent installation knowledge and a genuine interest in audio visual solutions.

  • Full operational and technical knowledge of audio visual systems
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of sensitivities of working on client’s site
