Audio Visual Engineer - London
£30,000 - £45,000 DOE | Permanent | London with occasional UK travel

Lynx Recruitment is partnering with a well-established technology integration company to find an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role

As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of audio-visual systems primarily in corporate environments across London, with occasional travel throughout the UK. This hands-on role will see you working directly with clients to deliver exceptional AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installing and commissioning all aspects of AV projects including wall/ceiling mounted displays, projectors, cameras & speakers
  2. Performing 1st and 2nd fix installation work
  3. Conducting pre-configuration work at the office
  4. Providing post-installation maintenance and service, both remotely and on-site
  5. Performing firmware updates and system optimization
  6. Responding to helpdesk tickets and providing technical support
  7. Delivering user training to clients
  8. Attending industry training courses and trade exhibitions to stay current with technology trends
Essential Requirements
  1. Proven experience installing and configuring corporate AV systems
  2. Proficiency in wall/ceiling mounting of displays, cameras, and speakers
  3. Strong cable installation and 1st fix experience
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  6. Full UK driving license
  7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Advantageous Experience
  1. Experience with MS Teams and Zoom integration systems (Logitech/Yealink/Poly/Crestron)
  2. Knowledge of Shure audio equipment
  3. Experience with Q-SYS
  4. Understanding of Dante audio networking
  5. Networking skills

Location

This position is based in South East London with projects primarily in Central London. Candidates should be within commuting distance of South East London. Some travel to client sites across the UK will occasionally be required.
