The Role

This position will be based within a well-known AV design consultancy where you will benefit from collaborating with a highly experienced small team and working on high-profile projects.

The Company

We are a management and technology project delivery consultancy providing independent specialist support in emerging technology and its impact on business. Our office is near St James’s Park in Westminster, serving clients throughout London and other areas.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need expert knowledge of the fundamentals of audio and video technology and human perception, along with:

  • A logical, engineering-led approach to multimedia system design
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to create system design schematics
  • Technical report and specification writing

You should have at least 5 years of experience in the audio-visual industry, in a technical role. Additional experience in a design-based role is beneficial. A degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline such as Electronic Engineering, Media and Production, Music Studies, Physics, or Theatre Engineering is required.

Additional useful & desirable skills:
  • Knowledge of CAD, visualization & design tools such as AutoCAD, Stardraw
  • Knowledge of IT systems, including IP Networks & structured cabling systems
  • BIM modeling
  • Web page design or programming
  • Project management experience
