A leading real estate services firm in London is seeking an AV Technician. You will ensure the functionality of conference rooms, providing technical support for meetings and events. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer service, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with video conferencing systems. This role requires flexibility and a professional demeanor, with responsibilities including maintenance and proactive issue resolution.
We are actively looking for an Audio Visual Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join our team supporting our international blue-chip client. This position is primarily responsible for providing support for the AV conference spaces and systems. The candidate will provide technical and general support to ensure functionality of meeting room and event spaces as well as rapid-response support and troubleshooting.

Provide white-glove technical support for internal, customer, and C-level executive meetings
Provide event support for larger spaces, including pre-event checks, duration support and pack down
Proactively identify potential AV issues and provide solutions to clients’ concerns or needs
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of video conferencing systems including WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet
Ensure functionality of conference rooms via scheduled structure room checks and ad hoc support
Technical troubleshooting skills – ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and proactive manner
Respond to client requests promptly
Troubleshoot and maintain AV devices and infrastructure. Responsible for putting in tickets with IT department responsible for audio visual technology
Responsible for communicating the need for maintenance or repair of audio-visual equipment
Perform regular maintenance, software and firmware updates, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs to provide uninterrupted service of all conference room equipment
Some commissioning and programming
Required
2 years’ experience in a client / customer facing service-oriented environment.
This is an onsite position only, must be flexible and be able to work hours around the client’s needs
Experience in both meeting room support and event spaces
Familiarity with integrated AV systems
Ability to learn new software as required for the position
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanour
Preferred
Onsite experience in corporate environments including but not limited to financial institutions, law firms, tech companies and government
Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure and manage time well
CTS Certification (preferred)
Crestron, AMX, or Extron Certifications (preferred)
DSP Programming (BIAMP, QCS) (preferred)
