Job summary

Flexzo Teach connects dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants directly with educational settings in the UK. This role offers complete autonomy to choose hours and assignments, with direct booking requests from local schools for 1:1 support, small-group interventions, and general SEN classroom assistance blocks.

Candidates should have experience with children or young people with SEN, implement targeted strategies, and demonstrate safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people with special educational needs in educational or care settings.
• Ability to implement targeted support strategies and use communication tools.
• Experience tailoring approaches for both primary and secondary learners.
• Patient, calm, nurturing demeanor with safeguarding knowledge.
• Valid right to work in the UK and DBS update willingness.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 SEN support to students in educational settings.
• Deliver small-group interventions as needed.
• Assist with general SEN classroom support across different settings.
