Job summary

Willing Recruitment currently seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join a private school’s healthcare team. You will provide day and boarding pupil care, handling first aid, minor illness, and long-term conditions during term time.

The role requires independent clinical decision-making, strong safeguarding, and the ability to work autonomously within a private school setting. Initially a fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required for practice.
• Experience with independent clinical decision making is essential.
• Strong first aid and emergency response skills.
• Ability to administer medications and maintain records.
• Safeguarding awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, emergency treatment, and routine nursing care to pupils.
• Assess illness/injury independently and determine treatment.
• Support pupils with long-term medical conditions and healthcare plans.
• Administer medications with accurate documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safeguarding standards.
