Job summary

West Berkshire Community Hospital in Newbury, part of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, is recruiting a part-time Band 6 Radiographer. You will work within the Community Imaging Team providing Plain film, CT and Dexa imaging, with a focus on quality patient care and efficient diagnostics.

The post holder must be state registered, hold a DCR(R) or radiography degree, and demonstrate ongoing CPD. You will participate in departmental shifts and weekend rotas, acting as a role model while

Qualifications

• Must hold the DCR(R) or radiography degree and be state registered.
• Demonstrate current CPD activity to show competence and autonomy appropriate to band 6.
• Active participation in departmental shift and weekend rotas.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent standard of radiographic imaging across Plain film, CT and Dexa.
• Participate in supervision, training and support of junior staff.
• Prioritise and organise own work activities to meet clinical and service needs.
