Job summary

Penrose Health is recruiting a Pharmacist for Deptford Surgery in London. You will manage all aspects of patients’ medications, including repeat prescriptions, reviews and drug monitoring, within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Autonomy and clinical leadership are balanced with collaboration and sharing learning across the service. A strong clinical background and GPhC registration are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with valid GPhC registration.
• Independent Prescriber qualification desirable.
• Strong clinical knowledge of medicines and prescribing principles.
• Understanding of primary care workflows and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of patients medication needs, including repeat prescriptions, medication reviews and drug monitoring.
• Provide safe, accurate, and timely prescribing and medication management.
• Maintain a personal patient list and deliver high-quality clinical care.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support integrated patient care.
• Work with the Pharmacist Dispenser to streamline repeat prescribing workflows.
• Contribute to service development within a collaborative primary care environment.
• Demonstrate communication, clinical judgement and organisational skills in a busy GP setting.
• Uphold professional standards and maintain valid GPhC registration.
