Job summary

Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide autonomous urgent care across our Health Centre network in Northumberland. You will work with the clinical lead to ensure high-quality care, audits and policy compliance while supporting a collaborative team.

The role involves leading nursing staff, coordinating on-duty activities, and contributing to service development. You will operate across NPC Wellway sites including Morpeth, Pegswood, Lynemouth and Newbiggin.

Qualifications

• Provide autonomous urgent care to patients.
• Work collaboratively with the team and liaise with the Nursing & AHP Clinical lead, responsible for audits and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous urgent care to patients who present to the Health Centre.
• Work across NPC Wellway sites: Morpeth, Pegswood, Lynemouth & Newbiggin.
• Provide holistic care from assessment to discharge or referral.
• Support department management; contribute to business planning.
• Role model compassionate leadership to promote teamwork and quality improvement.
