Qualifications

• Current UK healthcare professional Midwifery registration
• MSc in ACP/Advance Practice or Healthcare or HEE/NHSE Advance Practice digital badge
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Teaching and assessing qualification/equivalent
• Independent Prescriber (annotated on professional register)
• Desirable: PhD or working towards
• Desirable: Specialist qualification
• Desirable: GCP training

Responsibilities

• Autonomously assess, diagnose and manage maternity triage patients.
• Provide expert midwifery care contributing to treatment plans.
• Refer to senior colleagues when necessary and act as an independent prescriber.
• Contribute to research, audit and service development within the department.
