Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in Tewkesbury to recruit an HGV Workshop Manager. You will lead a busy workshop of 25 staff, own the fleet operations of over 100 HGVs, and drive improvements with autonomy.

The package includes £55,000-£60,000 base, overtime (OTE £73k), flexitime, 36 days holiday and company benefits. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm with optional overtime at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in managing teams in a workshop environment
• Mechanical background relevant to HGV workshop activities
• Negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors
• Ability to compile and present financial reports to leadership

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 25 employees in the workshop
• Dealing with fleet issues and maintaining high workshop standards
• Negotiating with parts suppliers and giving financial reports
• Overseeing operations of a fleet of over 100 HGVs
