Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to support community health and primary care services across Cullompton. You will run autonomous GP clinics, manage acute presentations, deliver routine reviews and support triage workflows.

Flexible sessional shifts with weekday, evening or weekend availability, suitable for both short-term and ongoing arrangements. You must have indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance, and NHS Performers List membership.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner required.
• NHS Performers List membership required.
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills essential.
• Ability to work independently in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous GP clinics within community health and primary care settings.
• Managing acute, chronic and minor illness presentations.
• Supporting urgent care demand through telephone triage and triage workflows.
• Prescribing safely in line with clinical policies and guidelines.
• Completing routine clinical actions including results, follow-ups and referrals.
• Documenting clear and accurate digital notes.
