Job summary

Manor Court Surgery in Nuneaton is seeking a qualified GP to join the team as an autonomous practitioner, delivering high-quality medical care in line with the GMS contract.

You will work with GPs and the wider practice team, manage long-term conditions, perform triage and on-call duties, and contribute to clinical governance, audits and CPD.

The post requires GMC registration, MRCGP and CCT or equivalent, with commitment to professional development and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with MRCGP and CCT/Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent.
• Full GMC registration and National Performers List.
• DBS and Occupational Health clearance.
• Desirable: Minor Surgery & Joint Injections. IUCD & Implanon.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly effective medical care to the practice population.
• Deliver services in accordance with the GMS contract.
• Manage patients with long-term conditions effectively.
• Prescribe generically and safely, following local and national guidance.
• Undertake telephone triage and duty doctor duties on a rotational basis.
• Follow clinical guidelines and evidence-based best practice.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
• Complete referrals, repeat prescriptions and other administrative tasks promptly.
• Share the practice workload equally with colleagues.
• Accept delegated responsibility for specific areas of QOF.
• Undertake additional tasks when required, depending on workload and staffing.
