Yolk Recruitment represents an established engineering business seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the M1 corridor and surrounding areas in the North. You will travel to customer sites, perform maintenance, fault finding and commissioning of water treatment related equipment, and develop specialist knowledge in a growing sector.

We welcome electromechanical engineers with hands-on experience, a UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer

Formación

• Strong electromechanical engineering background.
• Qualified engineer or time-served equivalent.
• Hands-on maintenance and fault finding experience.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, controls, piping or process plant.
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and communicate with customers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Preferably based along the M1 corridor (Nottingham, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Barnsley, Wakefield or Leeds).
• Flexibility to travel as part of field-based role.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding on industrial plant/equipment.
• Service and commission water treatment equipment and systems.
• Support installation of new equipment and systems.
• Complete service reports and document work accurately.
• Diagnose faults to restore operation quickly.
• Provide technical support to customers and plant operators.
• Manage own workload and present a professional image on site.
