Job summary

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support urgent care response and intermediate care services in the Torbay area. You will conduct holistic, needs-led assessments in partnership with service users, carers, and colleagues, managing complex caseloads and working autonomously in a variety of community settings, primarily in patients' homes.

Role requires flexible working seven days a week, with potential across the bay and with supervision

Responsibilities

• Manage an intensive acute caseload and triage/prioritise work by urgency.
• Conduct home visits and assess/treat patients in community settings, aiding discharge planning.
• Provide autonomous OT interventions, equipment provision, and home adaptations.
• Supervise Band 5 staff or support workers as required.
