Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to support the Integrated Community Paediatric Service. The role involves assisting with care plans for children with complex health needs across home, school and community settings, and sometimes within hospital or hospice settings.

Induction of six weeks will be provided, with training and competency assessments to prepare you for autonomous and team-based work under registered nurses.

• Excellent communication skills with children, young people and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist care plans for children with complex health needs.
• Provide personal care and mobility support.
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision.
