Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Bognor Regis. The role offers autonomous clinical practice with flexible sessional work and full support from an established multidisciplinary team in a well-organised primary care environment.

You will independently assess and manage a range of presentations, provide evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes within a structured workflow.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with common primary care systems (EMIS / SystmOne / Vision).
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
