Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for flexible regional primary care sessions across Saxmundham. This role offers autonomous control of clinical practice within established GP and community services.

You will deliver advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations, and support routine patient demand. Each clinic provides clear pathways and a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) must be current.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics in primary care.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in the clinic’s digital systems.
