Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver flexible regional primary care sessions across Oxted, with full autonomy over clinical practice in established clinics.

You will perform advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations, provide triage, prescribe within competence, and maintain clear notes in digital systems, all while working within GP and community services. DBS clearance is required, and the role supports ad-hoc or regular bookings.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and follow up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in electronic systems.
