Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Dewsbury to deliver comprehensive assessments and safe clinical decisions within a structured primary care setting.

You will work alongside GPs, Nurses and wider staff to support urgent care, routine appointments and triage, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions with morning and afternoon clinics are available.

Qualifications

• ACP Level 7 training and registration where required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records

Education

Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training

Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent)

Experience in primary/urgent care or emergency settings
