Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners for sessions in Bridgemill, UK. This role offers autonomous ACP-led care across primary care and community settings with flexible shift patterns.

You will run independent ACP clinics, manage acute presentations, and support urgent care through triage. Prescribing may be initiated where qualified, with thorough follow-up and precise notes, under on-site supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300/equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, community or urgent care services.
• Able to work autonomously in new clinical settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP clinics in community and GP environments.
• Manage acute and undifferentiated presentations.
• Support urgent care demand through triage and streaming.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete follow-up tasks and review results.
• Record detailed and accurate clinical notes.
