Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners to deliver autonomous ACP-led care across primary care and community settings in Creebridge. You can choose flexible sessions, with strong on-site clinical leadership support and a mix of urgent care, minor illness, and routine assessments.

Key responsibilities include running independent ACP clinics, managing acute presentations, triage, prescribing where qualified, and thorough note-taking.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ACP qualification required.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable (V300/equivalent).
• Experience in primary care, community or urgent care settings.
• Confident working autonomously in new clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP clinics in community and GP environments.
• Manage acute and undifferentiated presentations.
• Support urgent care demand through triage and streaming.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete follow-up tasks and review results.
• Record detailed and accurate clinical notes.
