Locum Ready is seeking a Locum ACP to work in a GP practice in Waterlooville. You will provide comprehensive assessments and safe clinical decisions within a structured, well-supported primary care setting.

Join a team of GPs and nurses, offering flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions, with a focus on urgent care, routine appointments and clinical triage while maintaining great patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACPs must have Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
