A Workshop Technician to support Husqvarna’s range of Professional robotics lawnmowers. The position will be mainly workshop based at Newton Aycliffe, with some travel as necessary. Responsibilities include repair and maintenance of robotic products, providing telephone advice to our service dealer network, and maintaining computer records. Support with robotic lawnmower installations, technical enquiries, and full range machinery support. Assist the After Sales Manager, senior robotics technician, and the After Sales Team in all aspects of after-sales support for the UK.
Provide technical support on the Help Desk for Husqvarna dealers.
Evaluate and repair machines returned to the workshop and report findings.
Rework bonded products as needed.
Develop technical support information for product training.
Communicate technical issues and status to Sales Teams or categories.
Assist with Automower installations and technical support.
Requirements include at least 5 years of industry experience, competence in repair/servicing small electrical equipment, ability to explain technical issues clearly, and strong report-writing skills.
Preferred qualifications include GCSE/A-level or higher in Math, Physics, or Engineering disciplines. Other relevant backgrounds or qualifications may be considered.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, good grammar, and PC literacy are essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
A clean, current driving license and passport are necessary, as some travel may be required.
