Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Automower Specialist to join our team in Colchester, Essex.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for demonstrating, installing, and commissioning the Husqvarna Autonomous mower range, including Ceora and EPOS. You will diagnose faults, supply and install equipment, including wired machines, and collaborate with the Husqvarna specialist team and our Professional Groundcare Area Sales Managers. Good computer skills are necessary due to the advanced technologies in these products, along with general mechanical skills.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Previous technical experience and knowledge of Automowers or horticultural machinery is desirable.
  • Repair and maintain equipment related to Automowers for customers.
  • Demonstrate, install, and commission machinery.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, which may be chargeable, warrantable, or internal jobs.
  • Work closely with Managers and Area Sales Managers regarding machinery and customer expectations.
  • Manage existing customer accounts.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers as required.
  • Promote the company's image and its products positively.
  • Attend training courses as required to maintain compliance and understanding.
  • Be a team player, capable of working alone or with others.
  • Work effectively under pressure and meet customer demands.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Hold a full, clean driver’s licence.
  • Be self-motivated.

Additional Information

  • Start date: Immediate, subject to the successful candidate's notice period.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch).
  • Salary: Competitive, plus company vehicle and mobile phone.
