Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Washbay Operative in Hallen. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, at our site, performing cleaning and sanitising duties for vehicles, units, and equipment.

Key tasks include externally cleaning products and vans, sterilising water tanks, disposing of waste, maintaining wash bay standards, and following COSHH and health and safety policies. A keen eye for detail and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Valeter or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Externally clean all company products, units, vans, and lights.
• Sterilize water tanks and ensure waste is emptied and prepared to a high standard.
• Remove rubbish from units/vans and clean waste bins.
• Clean toilet brushes and holders.
• Complete quarterly water tank sterilization services.
• Properly use, store, and dispose of all COSHH products.
• Keep the wash bay area clean and tidy at all times.
• Lock up all assets at the end of each shift.
• Shunt units/lights as required.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies through requisition.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
