Job summary

GTG Training in Glasgow is seeking an Automotive Technical Trainer to join our team. You will train apprentices and commercial courses to high standards at our sector-leading training centres as they work towards industry-accredited qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive technology, including electrical diagnosis. Training experience is not required, and a recognised qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair Level 3 is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Automotive Maintenance and Repair Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of latest automotive technology and diagnostic methods.
• Previous training experience is not required.
• Occupationally competent in automotive field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training reflecting current industry methods and technologies.
• Assess trainees and manage documentation in line with policy.
• Maintain up-to-date skills through CPD and industry trends.
• Provide welfare support to apprentices and employers.
