Job summary

Pertemps Kettering is recruiting for an experienced manufacturing engineer to drive the development and testing of new tools for our automotive customers in Redditch. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to expand the product range and support sales targets.

The role requires 1–2 years in project/production engineering, NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a clean driving licence, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Day shift, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a project, process, production or manufacturing engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair with motor trade experience.
• Clean driving licence and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Research and development of new products for the company and customer base.
• Maintain and update existing product information and industry tooling knowledge.
• Assist with marketing through demonstration rigs, action shots and video of tools in use.
• Locate and compile aftermarket/OEM information to support new development.
• Test prototype tools on vehicle parts and support workshop activities.
• Answer customer technical questions via phone, email or face to face.
• Support the Technical Director with additional duties as required.
