Job summary

Applus+IDIADA UK is looking for a Workshop Technician to join the Testing team at our Nuneaton office. You will work on automotive testing projects in workshop and road/test track environments, supporting the engineering team with hands-on activity and data collection.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience similar to an automotive mechanic/technician role is valued.
• Basic user level in office applications and IT systems is required.
• Experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
• Metalwork and MIG welding experience is valued.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Support testing activities including brake dynamometer setup and fixture fabrication.
• Assist test preparation, operation and data acquisition setup.
• Carry out tests according to defined procedures and specifications.
• Maintain the organisation of testing samples in the workshop.
• Support equipment upgrades, maintenance and calibration.
