Job summary

First Military Recruitment is supporting an employer in the search for a Technical Trainer to work on commercial vehicles, based in Haddenham. The role involves delivering technically-focused training, administering learner progress, and developing automotive teaching resources.

The ideal candidate will have solid vehicle tech knowledge, hands-on maintenance skills, and proven experience in teaching and course design.

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle technology, preferably trucks and the DAF Trucks brand.
Hands-on experience of repair and maintenance techniques for modern vehicles or relevant qualification.
Excellent and adaptable communication skills.
Experience in the design and delivery of technical training.
Ability to plan and organise in order to meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn.
Flexible approach and excellent team working skills.
Clean and current driving licence; occasional travel within UK/Europe may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical training in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements.
Complete administrative duties and monitor learners' progress.
Assist with developing resources for the automotive department.
Promote equality, diversity, and employability skills in training sessions.
Liaise with colleagues and the assessing team to ensure learner success.
