Job summary

Expleo is seeking an Automotive Systems Engineer to collaborate with the OEM client in defining system architecture and writing system level requirements. The role involves translating marketing feature requests into technical concepts, developing DOORS NXG-based requirements, and ensuring robust ECU communications using SAE J1939/J1979.

• Engineering degree in an applicable discipline.
• Chartered member of a relevant association.

Responsibilities

• Interpret feature requests from Marketing and translate into a technical concept, considering cost, weight, timing and packaging.
• Develop new functional requirements in DOORS NXG, ensuring they are clearly defined and testable.
• Ensure robust ECU communications by applying industry best practices, including SAE J1939 and J1979.
• Prepare and execute test plans at Labcar and vehicle level.
• Support the client on current product quality issues, including review of requirements and CAN traces.
