VIQU IT is partnering with a specialist vehicle engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an Automotive Systems Design Engineer. The role spans the full systems engineering lifecycle, from stakeholder needs to validation and fault-finding, with emphasis on architecture, integration and documentation.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in engineering, a relevant degree, and strong collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment in Warwickshire.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering experience in industrial/automotive environments.
• Degree in a relevant engineering subject.
• Experience across full V-model lifecycle.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems integration and electrical architecture.
• Experience with testing, validation and fault-finding.

Responsabilités

• Develop systems engineering solutions for vehicle platforms.
• Capture stakeholder requirements and system functions.
• Create system architectures and topologies for vehicles.
• Lead integration across electrical, communication and mechanical subsystems.
• Produce wiring diagrams and interconnection schematics.
• Support rig/vehicle validation and commissioning.
