Job summary

Apex Resource Management is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a specialist automotive manufacturing environment focused on delivering exceptional quality standards across a complex supply chain. The role requires strong supplier communication, issue resolution and development activities within a global context.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage supplier performance and ensure robust quality processes across the supply base, including carbon fibre

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive supplier quality, with PPAP/APQP processes.
• Proven ability to implement 8D, FMEA and Control Plans.
• Experience with supplier audits and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally.
• Comfortable working with Excel and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Support quality strategies to improve supplier performance and product quality.
• Manage supplier quality concerns and issue resolution for production and new programmes.
• Carry out supplier inspections, audits and site assessments.
• Prepare action plans, development plans, CCARs and quality reports.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement for project delivery.
• Investigate supplier-related production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Utilise quality tools and support PPAP/APQP activities.
• Review supplier processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality data in Excel and key systems.
