Job summary

Mayfield Ford Lincoln in Brampton is seeking a Licensed Technician to strengthen our high-performing service team. Earn a flat rate of $43-$45 per hour, with strong earning potential through productivity.

Qualifications

• Valid 310S license is required.
• Experience as a technician is required.
• Ford experience is preferred.
• Valid Class G license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Identify root causes and complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Confirm warranty eligibility before warranty repairs.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly with the service team.
• Examine vehicles for additional safety or service work and conduct road tests.

Compensation

$43 to $45 flat rate hourly.

What You’ll Do

• Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair.
• Identify root causes of vehicle malfunctions and complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Confirm warranty eligibility before performing warranty repairs.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly with the service team.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What We're Looking For

• Valid 310S License.
• Experience working in a technician position.
• Ford experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class G) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with domestic brands would be considered an asset.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work well with a team.
• A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
