Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and provide estimates for repair times.
• Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and steady hand for fine work, excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude, eager to learn and improve.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and collaborate with teammates.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
