Job summary

Waylands Automotive Limited, a Volvo showroom in Reading, is seeking an experienced car salesperson who loves meeting customers. You will sell new and used cars, manage customer records, and follow up on aftersales needs in a busy showroom environment.

You will be highly organised, with strong communication skills and a professional, friendly manner. A full driving licence is required, and a company car is provided as part of the role on a 5.5-day week with weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience selling cars to customers, with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Attention to detail in paperwork and customer records.
• Confident in using a CRM and following up with clients.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used cars to customers at the Volvo showroom in Reading.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and complete paperwork accurately to meet deadlines.
• Maintain customer records and follow up on aftersales needs.
• Manage database of prospective customers to generate new opportunities.
• Keep showroom clean, presentable and welcoming.
• Create and send customised video presentations to showcase car features.
• Ensure all sales comply with FCA regulations.
