Job summary

Emotiv Technical Recruitment is seeking a Product Development Engineer to advance automotive safety products, design upgrades, and drive testing across supplier networks. The role requires coordination with multiple manufacturers across regions and adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets.

The candidate will have 3+ years in electronics or finished products, with knowledge of CANbus, cameras and PCB design, and a degree in Electronics or related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with electronics or finished products
• Knowledge of cameras, monitors, CANbus, video signals, PCB design
• Degree in Electronics, Product Development or similar
• Familiar with AutoCAD and AI tools

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the development of automotive safety products internally and with partners and suppliers
• Perform, coordinate and oversee product testing, analysis, and certification including bench, outdoor and vehicle tests
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including requirements, validation plans, user manuals and drawings
• Support project timelines, risks and delivery milestones; participate in project meetings
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers
• Perform electrical and mechanical modifications, and rework of production units
