Job summary

Brigade Electronics Group Plc is looking for a Product Development & Applications Technician to support their Engineering teams in developing innovative vehicle safety systems. The role involves technical testing, installation support, and providing vehicle expertise, primarily for commercial vehicles. Candidates should have experience in vehicle electrical systems and strong communication skills. The position may require site visits across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experienced working hands-on with vehicle electrical systems, preferably HGVs.
• Basic understanding of analogue and digital circuits.
• Self-motivated with a practical aptitude and methodical approach.
• Able to work to deadlines and multi-task when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out technical product and system testing, evaluation, verification and validation.
• Lead installation and support for trials on Brigade and customer vehicles.
• Conduct troubleshooting, analysis and reporting of safety products and technologies.
• Provide technical support and training for customers and colleagues.

Skills

Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems

Competent in installation and diagnosis of vehicle electrical systems

Familiar with Microsoft 365 suite

Strong verbal and written communication skills
