Job summary

Autoneum is seeking a Process Engineer for a fixed-term contract from August 2026 to November 2027. The role focuses on delivering engineering services to ensure quality, productivity and seamless new product introductions in a lean manufacturing environment.

You will work with IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001 standards, supporting trials, ECIs, PPAPs and process documentation across manufacturing cells.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a minimum of HNC level in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IATF standards and SAP/ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Process Engineering services to meet performance and customer satisfaction for new products.
  • Work within IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001.
  • Organise trials for new product introduction and Engineering Changes (ECI); create PPAP docs; set up and develop cells; review process layouts with Programme Management, PML, Production, Quality and Planning.
  • Monitor process performance and drive improvements using root cause analysis.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment within manufacturing processes.
  • Support the creation of P-FMEA, Product Specifications and Standard Work Sheets within Document Control requirements.
  • Ensure BOMs and Routing Lists are correctly set up in the ERP system.
  • Establish and measure optimal process parameters to reduce waste.
  • Assist in training operatives on new processes and products.
