Are you a skilled prepper, vehicle technician, or bodywork specialist with a passion for precision and high-quality finishes? We are looking for an experienced individual to join a leading company with over 50 years of expertise in delivering exceptional paint finishes across the motorsport world, including Formula 1, Formula 3, GT Cars, vintage cars, and more. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and strong edge-to-edge filler work, as you’ll be working on some of the most iconic vehicles in the world.

Role Overview:

Location: Daventry

Shift: 8am-5pm (Monday to Thursday), 8am-4pm (Friday)

Salary: £34,354 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare a variety of materials including Fibreglass, Carbon Fibre, Aluminium, Steel, and Plastics.
  2. Perform expert edge-to-edge filler work, ensuring seamless, high-quality repairs and restorations.
  3. Work on high-value projects such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus, and Jaguar Replica refinishing and restoration.
  4. Conduct specialised race car restoration, including intricate accident repairs (e.g., recreating a 50-year-old race car wing).
  5. Ensure surfaces are ready for primer and topcoat applications.
  6. Demonstrate proven experience in bodywork preparation, including fibreglass, carbon fibre, aluminium, steel, and plastics.
  7. Exhibit expertise in edge-to-edge filler work, achieving flawless, precise finishes.
  8. Possess experience in motorsport, automotive engineering, aerospace, or similar high-performance sectors.
  9. Maintain high attention to detail and the ability to deliver top-tier results in fast-paced environments.
